julia Gazzara
Julia Gazzara was born and raised in her hometown of Raynham Massachusetts. From a young age Julia spent her time expressing herself through the arts, whether she was dancing on stage or picking up a paintbrush. HER passion for visual arts lead her to receive a BA in Studio Art, double concentration in Fine Arts Painting and Graphic Design with an Art History minor, From Bridgewater State University. She pursued an apprenticeship with the curator of archives at the Wallace Anderson Gallery on campus. She was commissioned to have works displayed in the Dean of Humanities Office, the Office of Student Affairs, and the welcome center. To Julia, art is an accessible, universal language of expression, a way to communicate without limits.
Growing up in the arts I spent most of my time in a studio, dancing on a team or painting away behind an easel. i believe, art is seen differently in the eyes of each individual based on their own human experience, allowing artwork to have varying interpretations. I strive to convey a message that art is not for a single person, but for all to use in communicating truth and bringing about change. In its purest form, it should be an honest expression of the self.
